Marc Nater is a Partner in the practice groups M&A/Corporate and Sports Law. He advises national and international clients primarily in the areas of commercial and corporate law, public and private mergers and acquisitions (M&A), restructuring, private equity, capital market law, and financing.
He is a recognized issuer representative of the SIX Swiss Exchange.
Another focus of his work is advising companies, entrepreneurs, and private individuals comprehensively, particularly in the area of business succession and its structuring.
Marc Nater advises athletes as well as sports associations and clubs, particularly in the areas of sponsorship contracts and transfer agreements and disputes.
From 2013-2018, Marc Nater was a member of the board and from 2017-2018, he was the president of the Zurich Bar Association. He regularly gives lectures at national and international conferences.
